Chilling Teen-Made Video Shows the Nightmare of Drunk Driving

Your Hump-day Recess: Injecting New Blood into Drunk Driving Campaign

A group of teens from Dublin High School decided to make a PSA for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) about drunk driving. The film that resulted from the work and ingenuity of the students is a neat little shocker – with a message.

The 30-second video was created for MADD’s “No More Victims” campaign, which launches this month. Students at the Dublin, California school had produced another film for MADD which so impressed the organization that they commissioned this film. The spot uses cinematic techniques and a creepy mood to get across the point: drunk driving can remove you from the lives of others. One of the symbolic rites of passage – high school graduation – disappears as the driver and his young sibling victims are erased from the earth.
