Maryland Association for Justice Annual Auto Negligence Seminar
The Maryland Association for Justice is hosting their Annual Auto Negligence Seminar on November 11th, 2013. The event, sponsored by LifeSafer, will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Columbia, Maryland from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Founded in 1954 by a handful of trial attorneys, the organization was originally known as the Maryland Plantiff’s Bar Association. After incorporating as a non-profit association, they changed their name in 2008 to the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc.
The Maryland Association for Justice, Inc. now has over 1,300 members across the state of Maryland, and focuses on improving the civil justice system and the professional development of its attorneys. Members include judges, lawyers, paralegals, and law students.
Highlights of the Auto Negligence Seminar will be workshops including “Ethical Issues Encountered by Auto Negligence Attorneys,” “The Do’s and Don’ts for Trying an Auto Negligence Case in the District Court,” and “Tips on Maximizing Settlements.”
