Red, White, and Blue-Themed Mocktails for Your 4th of July

red, white, and blue-themed mocktailsThe 4th of July is the kickoff for summer, and the time that Americans relax, chill out, and celebrate the holiday across the United States. Although many people see the 4th of July as the chance to drink freely, you could skip the alcohol this year and try something different, like these red, white, and blue-themed mocktails.

Start with Independence Day Punch. All you’ll need is cranberry juice, Blue Gatorade Frost, Diet 7UP, and ice cubes. Fill a clear pitcher or dispenser with ice. Add cranberry juice and then layer the Blue Gatorade Frost. Be sure to pour the Blue Gatorade onto some of the ice so it settles nicely into a layer. Next up, pour the Diet 7UP onto the ice cubes to prevent mixing. You should have a multi-layer beverage that’s non-alcoholic and delicious!

Another idea is a satisfying Fruit Flag Waver. All it takes is raspberries, blueberries, grenadine, and 7UP.

Start with an inch or so of fresh raspberries in a glass, and pour in grenadine to a point where it just covers the berries. Add plenty of crushed ice, and pour 7UP slowly into the glass. Top off with the blueberries, and your red-white-and-blue is complete!

Everyone loves watermelons on the 4th of July, so why not try a Watermelon mocktail? You’ll need 20 oz fresh watermelon juice, 2 oz pomegranate juice, 2 oz lemon juice, and 8 ounces of 7 UP.  Mix them together in a jug and serve over ice.

You don’t need to drink alcohol to have a great time on the 4th of July. Just try one of these great red, white, and blue-themed mocktails and enjoy the holiday.
