Ed Zukel joined LifeSafer in 2022 as a Business Development Manager and now supports several Midwestern states, helping grow ignition interlock referrals through strong, strategic partnerships. He works closely with criminal defense attorneys, judges, court clerks, probation departments and treatment providers, setting LifeSafer apart through his consultative, relationship-first approach. Ed has been in the ignition interlock industry since 2016 and brings decades of experience from the broader criminal justice technology field, including electronic monitoring and alcohol testing solutions. His early work in the public sector includes launching one of Kansas’s first House Arrest programs, giving him a deep understanding of justice system operations. Based in the Kansas City area, Ed studied political science and criminal justice at the University of Kansas. He is passionate about supporting partners with reliable solutions that promote compliance, safety, and successful program outcomes.
