Oklahoma Interlock Process
How do I get an interlock license?
1.) Fill Out An Application
A modified driver’s license replaces your original Class D license in Oklahoma and allows you to operate a noncommercial motor vehicle as long as the vehicle is equipped with an ignition interlock device. Fill out the application online to request a modified driving license as soon as possible
2.) Install An Ignition Interlock
Call LifeSafer Ignition Interlock at 800-634-3077 to schedule your ignition interlock installation or schedule online.
3.) Obtain A Restricted License
After you have met all the requirements of reinstatement as noted on the Order of Revocation, Oklahoma DPS will issue a restricted driver license that will indicate that the person is only authorized to operate a vehicle upon which an interlock has been installed. The wording “Ignition Interlock Device Required” will be placed on the driver’s license.
