Arkansas Interlock Process

How do I get an interlock license?

1.) Eligibility

Visit your local Arkansas Driver Control office to determine eligibility for an interlock restricted license or check online for your reinstatement requirements on the Arkansas DMV website.

2.) Complete and Education or Treatment Program

Complete a state-sanctioned Drug and Alcohol Education or treatment program. Submit the original signed completion certificate to Arkansas Driver Control.

3.) Attend a Victim Panel

Attend a Victim Impact Panel and submit a completion certificate to Driver Control.

4.) Install Your Ignition Interlock

5.) Submit Confirmation of Installation

Submit your “Confirmation of Interlock Requirement” form to Arkansas Driver Control.

6.) Reinstatement Fee

Pay a $150 reinstatement fee. Payments may be made in person at any State Revenue Office, by mail or online .

7.) Pass Driver’s License Exam

Individual with a Revoked license status will be required to pass all phases of the Arkansas Driver’s License Exam.
